In May 11, 2023, Kendall announced she will be taking a ”step back” from the Morning News show, and will be appearing for only one of it’s three hours. She made it clear that she would continue to appear on the 7 a.m. edition, followed by the “Good Day” lifestyle show at 9 a.m.

Alix was born in Minneapolis but her career and hunger for success led her to Albuquerque where she worked for KRQE-TV, and in Cincinnati where she helped launch the morning show on FOX 19 (WXIX-TV).
