Arianne Zucker Biography

Arianne Zucker is an American actress and model. She is best known for playing as Nicole Walker on the NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives from 1998 to 2018.

She began playing her role in 1998 and has received three Daytime Emmy nominations and one Soap Opera Digest Award win for her portrayal as the unlucky-in-love vixen.

Arianne married actor Kyle Lowder, who co-starred with her on Days of our Lives as Brady Black in 2002.  The couple separated after five years of marriage, briefly in August 2007, then reconciled in March 2008.

The couple has one child Isabella Reese Lowder.  Arianne and Lowder confirmed they were divorced in March 2014.


In mid 2022, Arianne got engaged to her longtime friend and former co-star Shawn Christian. Arianne and Shawn met on the set of Days of Our Lives, and it was after her divorce with Kyle Lowder that she started dating Shawn.

Arianne Zucker Career

When Arianne was sixteen years old she began modeling after she was discovered by a scout from It Models.

She began acting in Los Angeles and later her career took her to locations around the world, including France, Japan, Australia and New York. Arianne went to Chatsworth High School, graduating in 1992.

While she was there, she was a cheerleader during her sophomore and junior years. Later she described her cheerleading experience:

“I was on junior varsity in 10th and 11th grade, and then I decided it wasn’t for me. I was so tall and I wasn’t one of “those girls”.

Arianne appeared in several TV commercials, including national spots for Mazda and McDonald’s. She Settled in Los Angeles and began studies as an actress at Los Angeles Pierce College.

Ariannae was involved in several workshops that included her performances in Beth Henley’s Crimes of the Heart and Neil Simon’s The Last of the Red-Hot Lovers.

Arianne went on with her studies at the Howard Fine Studio, where she has been a student for many years. She auditioned for and won the role of Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives in February 1998. She announced in March 2017 she would be leaving Days of Our Lives.

Days Of Our Lives

Arianne will be returning to Days of our Lives as Nicole Walker on Thursday April 25, 2019. She revealed her return date on Instagram in a reply to a fan’s inquiry and stated, “First Air Date is April 25th!”

Arianne auditioned for and won the role of Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives in February 1998. Arianne announced in March of 2017 that she was leaving the soap after 18 years as Nicole Walker.

Her Fans were very upset.   Speaking with Soaps in Depth after her exit, she admitted that she was grateful to the show for not killing her off so she could still return to Salem one day! “I love the fact that my line was ‘As God is my witness, I will be back!’” Arianne revealed. “I mean, that’s kind of great.” However, her fans were delighted when she reprised her role as Nicole returned to DAYS in October of 2018.
