Cosby attended Mary Channing Wister Public School and he was the captain of the basketball and track field teams and the class president. Sexual abuse allegations
The earliest allegations against Bill date back to 1965 December made by Christina Rueli. Two other allegations were made in 1980 and 1996. Between 2000 to 2022, more ladies came forward – almost 60 women- with sexual allegations against the actor. Cosby was found guilty against Andrea on April 2018 and was sentenced to three to ten years in prison in state prison and a $ 25,000 fine plus court costs of both trials. Cosby served nearly three years in prison before the Pennsylvania supreme court overturned his conviction.
Earlier this month- December 2022, five women have come forward– including two actors from the Cosby show, and filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Bill using the Audit Survivor Act. The act allows victims to sue abusers even after the statute of limitations expires.
However, Andrew Wyatt- Coby publicist and crisis manager says the actor tour is already scheduled to occur.
“We have so many — I mean, hundreds of thousands of supporters just asking for him to do a show,” Wyatt said. “We have so many promoters across the country. He is in high demand.”
Andrew maintains that the lawsuit will not affect the comedian tour as planned because the allegations are a ‘money grab’.
Earlier this year, Cosby celebrated and bragged about his home life with his wife days after the court ordered him to pay $ 500,000 to the woman he allegedly assaulted. The famous comedian posted on his Instagram a picture of himself wearing a bright yellow shirt with the caption: After two years and 10 months fighting for my life and the truth – one year of freedom home with my family sure looks good on me. ‘(At least that’s what my wife says).’
Bill is married to Camille Hanks since January 25 1964 and they are blessed with five children namely, Erica (1965), Erinn (1966), Ennis (1969-1977), Ensa (1973- 2018), and Elvin (1976). Ennis was murdered in 1977 and Ensa passed away from renal disease in 2018.
