How Dan and Deanna Met | Love Story
Dan and Deanna met in 2003, when they were working at the NBC TV station in New Orleans. Dan was a meteorologist and Deanna was a producer. Interestingly they had the same days off, so they hung out and became friends.
Deanna says she would have laughed if someone said Dan would be her future husband, because they were so opposite. Eventually, with the frequent hung outs and dates, they fell in love with one another and wedded in 2009. Their favorite hobby is doing things with their kids, as a family.
Together they have two children; a daughter, Sadee and a son Hudson. When not in the office, Thomas loves spending time with his family. He coaches his son baseball and basketball and watches his daughter horseback riding lessons.

After graduate school, Thomas began his military career at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA. He was deployed to the Middle East, and while there he briefed pilots on weather conditions.
In 2000 Thomas completed his active duty military service, and later he began his full-time career in TV as the morning meteorologist for KHBS/KHOG-TV in Fort Smith, AR.
In 2003, Dan moved to New Orleans, to work as a broadcast meteorologist for WDSU-TV, the NBC affiliate. His coverage of Hurricane Frances in 2004 earned him ‘’First Place for Breaking Weather’’ from Louisiana Associated Press.
Dan is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. In May 2009, he was certified by the American Meteorological Society after passing rigorous testing and standards.
