TM: Tell us about Boomer on Pair of Kings!
DS: Boomer is an outspoken and fun-loving person who just wants to have a good time.
TM: If you could be king in real life – what are three mandates you would make?
DS: If I could be a king in real life, I would ban currency, have a mandatory hour-long nap in the middle of the day, and mandate that everyone has to respect each other no matter what or else you will be exiled from the island.
TM: Tell us about your castmates – who are you closest to and why?
DS: Honestly I’m close to all of them equally. We hang out on and off set like a real family.
TM: Any fun moments, pranks, anecdotes from the set to share?
DS: Mitchel and I played a prank on April Fools’ Day where we pretended to be in a fight and threatened to quit the show. But it was just a joke and we made sure we pointed that out to everyone after they stopped crying.
TM: What were you like in high school? Who do you count as your support system today?
DS: I was always a relaxed person in school and stayed away from drama. I always had a close group of friends. My mom and auntie are my biggest support system.
TM: What is your perception of young Hollywood? How do you stay grounded?
DS: I stay grounded by having good people around me that I can trust.
TM: Whose career would you most like to emulate?
DS: Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, and Ron Howard
TM: Best advice you were ever given?
DS: No matter what you do in life continue to be true to yourself.
