Greg began by noticing a pea size nod on his lower lip. He seeked for medical attention, and the doctors recommended a biopsy, which confirmed that the swelling was indeed cancerous. He underwent a successful surgery and he is now back to work.

Funny enough, Greg didn’t go to college to study journalism, instead he studied Soil Science at Parkland Junior College in Champaign Illinois, with plans to design and build golf courses.

While there he ran into the program director to the college radio station, who asked him to try radio news and being a DJ. The experience lead to him to switching his major, and that is how he landed a TV job.
