Gypsy had to discontinue her studies when she was in 2nd grade due to the illness she was suffering from according to her mother. They included Leukemia, Asthma, Muscular Dystrophy.

Because of this reason she had to be under 24/7 care. Therefore she was home-schooled through out her life

In a statement the rose made while she was in jail she said that she felt better while in jail than when she was with her mother.

Additionally she said that her mother had denied her the freedom in life since she could not even take sugar, play with her friends or even go to school.

She said that now she can live freely as a woman. Dee dee had put rose to such torment that she had undergone unnecessary treatment and operation since she was not sick.

Moreover, her mother made her sit on a wheel chair because she claimed she cant walk. She also shaved her hair and said that she had cancer.

Gypsy underwent a procedure where all her teeth were removed for no apparent reason. The moment when she found out what her mother had been doing to her she was infuriated .

Therefore, she started to plotting on how they would kill her mother together with her boyfriend. In June 2015 Rose let GodeJohn into their house and he killed her mother by stabbing her several knives while she was on the floor.

The couple runoff on when the body was found they came back and confessed the murder. Gypsy confessed to the second degree murder of her mother and she was sentenced for 10 years imprisonment.

Nicholas GodeJohn confessed to first degree murder in 2018 and he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

After serving her 8 years sentence Gypsy was released on 27, December 2023. Rose was seen with her husband Ryan Scott Anderson while followed by a media team.

Then she got herself new pair of shoes.
