Jennifer McDermed is an American meteorologist currently working as a weather forecaster at FOX 9 KMSP. She joined the FOX 9 team in January 2018. .
Jeniffer’s weather forecasting broadcasting career began with a short stint at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri. In November 2013, she joined the WHO-TV weather team in Des Moines, Lowa.
She has also worked at KMBC 9 in Kansas City, which she joined in December 2015. Throughout the past few years Jennifer has tracked several tornadoes in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. In 2012 she tracked the biggest tornado rated an EF-4 near Lyons, Kansas.
