Jill was a member of The Big Apple Circus in New York City from 1978 to 1980. She also worked for 7 years, with Sanford Meisner.
Jill who founded and produced the Sanford Meisner Center For The Arts, privately coaches actors in Los Angeles for film and television.
Gatsby started her career with by playing in the comedy sequel “A Return to Salem’s Lot” (1987) with Michael Moriaty and “It’s Still Alive III: Island of the Alive”(1987)
Later she turned her career to film, featuring in the Tom Atkins action “Maniac Cop” (1988), the Nicholas Cage comedy “Vampire’s Kiss” and “The Ambulance” (1990). Lastly she recently appeared on “Captivity” (2007)
Jill Gatsby Larry Cohen
Her father, the late Larry Cohen, who was an American film producer, director, and screenwriter, best known as a B-movie auteur of horror and science-fiction films, often containing a police procedural element, during the 1970s and 1980s, died on 24th March 2019, at the age of 77.
The news were first reported by Bloody Disgusting of the prolific screenwriter and filmmaker’s death, which Cohen’s publicist confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter, adding that Cohen died Saturday night surrounded by friends and loved ones. However no cause of death was revealed.
