Dayton’s Channel 2 NEWS has a new co-anchor.

WDTN-TV just hired John Seibel, a Dayton native, and Gulf War veteran, to join the 4:30 a.m. newscast on 2 NEWS and the 2 NEWS Today show from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Dayton’s CW.

Loyal 2 NEWS viewers will have to get used to a new personality, but Seibel’s background growing up in Englewood and attending Northmont High School may make him a familiar face for some as he returns to his roots.
