She is also known for being one half of a famous celebrity couple, the other half being the award-winning country music star Kane Brown.

The pair announced that they had gotten engaged in April 2017. Kane announced their engagement while performing a live concert in Jae’s home city of Philadelphia.
The pair took their romance to a whole new level when they tied the knot on October 12, 2018. Theirs was an intimate wedding ceremony of over 200 guests which took place at the Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tennessee.
Soon after they tied the knot, the lovestruck groom revealed a tattoo of his wife’s name “Katelyn” on his right hand.

She attended Downingtown High School in Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania, she later joined the West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
There is not much information on her early education, she has confided much of her personal life and her educational background. Although she was enrolled for singing, dancing, as well as acting classes.
Career
Katelyn began her music career while she was young. she got much interest and love in music that became obvious at a very young age and she got a karaoke machine at the age of three.
She became noticed by her choir teacher while she was in the sixth grade. She had a captivating rendition of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” during the fall concert performance after which the teacher recommended that her parents get her enrolled for vocal and piano classes.
Her parents later took that wise counsel and enrolled her for singing, dancing, as well as acting classes. As expected, the talented youngster easily caught the entertainment bug and has not looked back ever since.
While at school she created, recorded, and performed her own music and she equally continued in this trend while studying at the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. As a teenager, she was selected among the top five singers at the 2008 International Model and Talent Association conference.
She as well got selected among 23 female singers to represent the US at the 2010/2011 Avon Voices, an international singing competition exclusively for women. She as well auditioned for hit music competitions like American Idol and The Voice.
Back in 2012, she later received a $20,000 prize in addition to a management contract with Wright Entertainment Group and YOBI.tv. As part of her recording contract, Jae as well so to train at the Florida compound music industry boot camp of Johnny Wright, the CEO of Wright Entertainment Group. She later got enrolled to study music management.

Katelyn describes her sound, how she got started in a singing career, her touring highlights, her upcoming projects, and what self-love means to her. Read on to find out more about this talented singer!
GLITTER: Can you describe your sound to us?
KATELYN: My sound? I’m like an old soul, so I love some old soul. I grew up on Whitney, Christina, Mariah; that’s all my mom listened to, so I would say I’m very soulful.
I love like urban, R&B music mixed with pop. So I’m a little bit of everything, you know what I mean? I would hate to pick one genre.
Karaoke Machine
GLITTER: When did you know you could sing and when did you get into it and how?
KATELYN: Well, when I was little, I think I was like three-years-old, I got my first karaoke machine. I used to carry it around the house, so I love singing, but no one ever took me serious.
It wasn’t until I was like in the 6th grade, I tried out for solos and my choir teacher was like “Get her some voice lessons” and my mom was like she can sing? I was like I don’t know, I didn’t even know you could get voice lessons. So um, then I just started singing. (laughter)
GLITTER: What’s been the best part of touring this summer? What’s been a couple highlights?
KATELYN: I would have to say, meeting the people. We’ve all become such a family, we’re together 24/7, and so everybody’s like brothers and sisters.
And definitely seeing the country. I mean, I saw everything and some people don’t ever get to do that, so I’m very blessed.
Colorado
GLITTER: Any favorite places that you were just like “Wow, this is beautiful?”
KATELYN: Colorado was beautiful. I’ve been to LA, New York, Atlanta, Philly – major cities, they’re awesome, but to really see nature was amazing!
GLITTER: Awesome! What can fans expect from you this fall or what projects do you have coming up?
KATELYN: This fall, my single’s coming out at the end of the summer called “Perfect” and then my album will be out this fall.
GLITTER: We have a self-love campaign where Cody Simpson and tons of stars have chimed in – I’m just going to video tape you on this one – if you could tell us what self-love means to you.
KATELYN: Self-love means to me believing in yourself and having confidence and being a good person, for sure. Making a difference.
