In 2021, Katie created a series at WCTV.tv, called ‘Unsolved’. Through it she investigates people who vanished across north Florida and South Georgia and cold case murders. Some of her investigations have garnered national attention.

In 2022 ` Unsolved Florida was recognized as the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists’ Best Investigative Series’ for a small market.
