Kim Dickens is an American actress commonly known for her leading roles in comedies such as Hollow Man (2000), House of Sand and Fog (2003), The Blind Side (2009), Gone Girl (2014), and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (2016).

She had regular roles in drama series on Television and is recently starring at Madison Clark in AMC horror drama series of the Fear Walking Dead (2015–2018).

She started performing comedies on stage while she was still a student, she started production of David Mamet’s Sexual Perversity in Chicago, at Vanderbilt University In 1990. Dickens spent her time playing supportive roles in most of the TV shows. Afterward, she made her first professional comedy playing with Vincent Gallo in the year 1995.

Dickens played in leading her roles to the opposite Vincent Gallo in neo-noir thriller Truth or Consequences, N.M., directed by Kiefer Sutherland. The film got negative reviews to the critics in 1997. Also, she has co-starring roles to the films committed in the opposite side of Heather Graham, Hollow Man with Elisabeth Shue and Kevin Bacon, and The Gift starring Cate Blanchett in 2000. After leading the following year at the independent film she received critical acclaim for her performing. In the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead nomination.

In 2000 she worked mostly in TV shows and she often played with her fellow friend Joanie Stubbs in the HBO western Deadwood from 2004 to 2006. Kim Dickens was nominated to represent the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2007 for this role.

She was a member of regular unaired HBO comedy series. In 2010-2013 Kim Dickens was a regular HBO ensemble drama series, Treme. From 2013 to 2014, Dickens recurred her role Colette Jane in the FX crime drama, Sons of Anarchy. She had the recurring role in netflixing political drama House of Cards.

She had the major role as a Detective Rhonda Boney in the psychological thriller film of Gone Girl, Directed by David Fincher in 2014. She began playing his Madison Clark in August 2015 in the Walking Dead companion series, Fear the Walking Dead, on AMC.

On June 2018, she left the series. She is Known for Gone Girl (2014), Hollow Man (2000) and Deadwood (2004). Kim has supporting roles in her comedy films. Kim is recently starring on as Madison Clark in the AMC horror drama series Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2018).
