Lindsay Riley is a proud graduate of Penn University, and she is the current evening meteorologist at 12 News First @ 4, 5, 6 and 10 p.m.
She is a two-time Emmy Award-winning meteorologist, and before joining 12News, Lindsay worked as a morning and noon meteorologist at WTTV, the CBS affiliate in Indianapolis.
Riley has also worked as a weekend morning meteorologist at NBC 5, in Dallas. In addition to forecasting on weekend mornings, she also reported on environmental and other weather-related stories and features.
She has also worked at WLEX-TV, Buffalo, and the CBS affiliate as where she forecasted the weather.
It was while she was at Buffalo that her team won a 2009 Emmy from the New York chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for a January report entitled “WIVB Wake Up: Wild Windstorm”
In the course of her career, Riley has covered everything from blizzards and floods to hurricanes and heatwaves.
