Liz Longley came to fame when she performed her original song in her Elementary School when she was 9 years old. Upon her graduation from Berklee College of Music in 2010, Liz won three songwriting competition:
The Chris Austin Songwriting contest, The BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship competition and The international Acoustic Music Awards.
Later she recorded her second album ‘Hot Loose Wire’ which included her two Award winning songs and also a cover song for Van Morrison’s “Moondance.”
Liz Fame spread fast and she moved from New York to Boston. She opened shows for artists like; Amos Lee, Nancy Griffith and Paula Cole.
Moreover she started accepting writing commissions for Televisions and Cinemas. Her song ‘This is not the End was featured in the finale of the series Army Wives and also on the ABC Series NY Meds.
Later on Liz conducted a Fundraising to record her next album. Her goal was $35,000 but she managed to raise $50,000. She recorded her album with the Ocean Way Studios with producer Gas Berry.
In April 2020 she issued Funeral for my Past with the Tone Tree Music Label.
