Health

In early 2003, the Academy World-winning actor was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 60 years. He underwent treatment at  Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. The disease was caught in its early stages and the actor was able to make a quick recovery. The actor who kept his battle with cancer out of the public eye later started to urge men to begin screening. It seems that Robert acted right through his prostate cancer 19 years ago.

In 2021 at 77, the actor was spotted wearing a brace and a cast on his right leg as he headed out in New York on Sunday after he described the injury to his leg as ‘manageable’. The actor tore his quad while filming a movie in Oklahoma.

The actor’s rented Manhattan townhouse was broken into by a woman on December 13 2022 while he was inside. The woman who is known by the police for several burglary arrests was after the presents around Robert’s Christmas tree. The basement door showed signs of forced entry, New York City police said. The woman was taken into custody and charged with burglary. The actor appeared to be doing well after the burglary, the NewYork post later reported.
