Born to her parents as the last of five children, she was raised by her mother after the death of her father when she was only ten months old. Sue Lyon started her career in the TV shows ‘ The Loretta Young Show’ and’ Dennis the Menace’ with modeling projects and small parts. She was cast in the movie’ Lolita’ as Dolores “Lolita” Haze in 1962 and eventually won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. She also recorded two songs for the movie “Lolita Ya Ya” and “Turn off the Moon.” After that, the actress appeared again in ‘ The Iguana Night ‘ as a seductive teen girl. She played a role in the ‘ 7 Women ‘ of John Ford in 1966. A year later, Lyon starred alongside George C in the comedy flick ‘ The Flim-Flam Man ‘ as Bonnie Lee Packard.
