Tacko Fall Biography

Tacko Fall is a Senegalese basketball player. He currently plays college basketball for the UCF Knights.

He was born Elhadji Tacko Sereigne Diop Fall on December 10, 1995, in Dakar, Senegal. He is 23 years.

Tacko Fall Early life

He was born and raised in Dakar, Senegal and at the age of 16, he moved to the United States. He visited the International Sports Training Institute at Dakar. Fall played soccer and had no much interests in basketball. He trained with the NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon and played his first organized basketball in Houston, Texas.

He attended to Liberty Christian Prep in Florida during his final two years.

Tacko Fall High school career

Standing at a height of 7 ft 6 in he was the tallest high school basketball player in the country while he played for Jamie’s House Charter and Liberty Christian Prep. He was among the most highly scouted high school basketballer centers in the country due to his height and wingspan.

He first played for Jamie’s House Charter School in Houston, where his team won the state championship. Fall played with ISTI all-stars summer travel team. He later joined the University of Central Florida in Orlando despite different schools expressing interest in him. He was officially signed by the UCF Knights under head coach Donnie Jones.

Tacko Fall College career

He joined the UCF as a center. In the tallest tip-off and match-up in US college basketball history in a game against the UC Irvine Anteaters, he faced fellow 7 ft 6 inc Senegalese.

He became the tallest player in College basketball by his sophomore year. He was named American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2017. He ranked second nationality in field goal percentage as of January.

He decided to test his name for the 2017 NBA Draft, on April 5 with the possibility of returning to Central Florida still available to him before the end of the draft lottery that year. He later withdrew his name from the consideration for the NBA Draft, to return to UCF for his junior year. He injured his shoulder.

He was named to the Preseason Second Team All-AAC. During his senior season, Fall helped lead the Knights to the NCAA Tournament and secured their first victory in program history with a win over VCU during his senior season.

On Sunday night Williamson banked the Blue Devils’ first shot of the content after UCF’s Tacko Fall opened things up with a dunk. He then made his way into the first viral clip of the clash, but unfortunately as the recipient of straight up stuff from Fall.
