Zack Edward Snyder is an American film producer and director also a screenwriter. Known for a number of his movies being  300, Man of Steel and  Batman and Superman: Dawn of Justice. He was born on 1st March 1966 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

He made his film debut in 2004 with the remake of the 1978 horror film Dawn of the Dead. Ever since he has done a number of comic books and superhero films. He is the co-founder of Cruel and Unusual Films which was established in 2004 alongside his wife Deborah Snyder.

Synder is married to Deborah Synder with whom they have eight children. He had four from his first marriage to Denis Weber.
Zack later came loose one child Autumn Synder while directing the 2017 Justice League and had to step down from its production to grieve with his family.

Career

Zack made his debut of the remake Dawn of the Dead and later directed the War film 300 which was a Box Office hit. His Warner Bros. film Watchmen was released on 6th March 2009 and earned a gross 185b million Dollars worldwide.

He later made an animation Legends of the Guardians The Owls Ga Hoole released on 24th September 2010. For Warner Bros., he directed the reboot of the Superman franchise Man of Steel.

In Comic-Co 2013 he announced Superman and Batman would share a screen in Superman and Batman: Dawn of Justice released in 2016.

He later directed the 2017s Justice League until the death of his daughter when he stepped down at the last stages of production to Joss Whedon the Avengers director to take over.
Zack usually uses slow motion in and out fight scenes in his films.
