Corey Davis Career

Corey Davis is an American journalist, currently working as a news anchor and reporter at 6abs Action News. He joined the team in August 2019. Prior to joining 6abc Action News, Corey worked in Tampa, Florida. While in Tampa, Corey covered national stories from high-profiled criminal cases and politics to record-breaking hurricanes.

He was lucky to be one of the first reporters on-air to show the country the extensive damage and need for help in areas around Panama City.

Upon graduating, Corey started a part-time video editing job at WCSC while still working as a theatre manager, and was soon promoted to a full- time photographer.

He spent two years shooting, editing and writing his own stories as a β€˜β€™one-man-band ’’. From there, Corey moved on to a station in Greenville, South Carolina. It was while he was at Greenville that Corey covered storms and wildfires.
