Erica Simon is an American News anchor, currently working as a weekday evening anchor at ABC13 in Houston Town, United States.
She joined the station in 2017, and also serves as VP of Multimedia for the Houston Association of Black Journalists and is part of the Missouri Alumni Association.
She previously anchored the weekend morning news, alongside Jeff Ehling and meteorologist Kevin Roth, and in 2022, the team was nominated for an Emmy for their coverage of the Astroworld Fest tragedy.
Prior to joining ABC 13, Erica worked at Action News Jax WJAX-WFOX in Jacksonville, Florida.
She has also worked as a news anchor at KOMU-TV in Columbia, and at KTAL in Shreveport, Louisiana. Her most memorable interviews include NFL wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and civil rigts icon, Andrew Young.
