Prior to joining 6abc, Alicia worked at News 12 New Jersey, as the morning and afternoon anchor, and also the producer and host of Buck Wild, weekly bargain –hunting segment that aired on Wednesdays.
She has also worked as an anchor and reporter for Time Warner cable network NYI, a 24-hour channel in New York City.
She has been the Grand Marshal of the Italian American Festival in North Wildwood, New Jersey as well as the Italian American Woman of the Year for the Center for Italian and Italian American Culture, the Italian American Police Society of NJ and the East Hanover Italian American Club.

Alicia Vitarelli Battling Endometriosis
In 2013 November, Alicia disclosed that she had been suffering from sharp, intense pain, nausea and migraines every month. After months of invasive testing, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis.
This made it difficult for her to conceive, but after going through treatments, she was able to conceive and she gave birth to her lovely daughter, Priscilla Isabella.
