Gina Mangieri is an American journalist, currently working as an investigative journalist at KHON2 in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. She moved to Hawaii in 1999 and joined KHON2 in 2004.
She anchors Sunday newscasts at KHON2, and co-anchors the 4 pm newscasts at KHON Mondays through Thursdays, and the 7 pm newscast on KHII.
In 2004, she founded The Cole Academy.

Gina Mangieri is an American journalist, currently working as an investigative journalist at KHON2 in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. She moved to Hawaii in 1999 and joined KHON2 in 2004.
As an investigative reporter, she focuses on stories “that can help right a wrong”. Gina’s ‘Always Investigating’ series helps track and raise awareness on many important issues, such as high cost of rail and the mistreatment of fishermen in Hawaii’s longliner fleet.
When she chose to go into journalism like her mother, Gina ended up gravitating toward business journalism; blending her passion for news and storytelling with her entrepreneurial background.
Before joining Hawaii television, Gina worked at Pacific Business News for 5 years as an editor. She has also been in print and broadcast journalism as a reporter and editor in New York, London, Chicago and Washington, D.C.

The Cole Academy
The Cole Academy was started by Gina, as a downtown infant, toddler and preschool centre. The concept of the school came about when Gina came back from maternity leave and was in need of good childcare but she couldn’t get one to exactly meet what she envisioned in care and education.
It is currently providing the best nationally accredited early childhood education and care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
