He joined KCCI in September 2023, and he co anchors alongside Stacey Horst and meteorologist Jason Sydejko, on weeknights at 6, 9 and 10 p.m. He replaced Steve Karlin, who retired in March 2023.
Before joining KCCI News, Ben worked as a news anchor and multimedia journalist at WCTV in Tallahassee, Florida for a period of seven years. While there, Ben co-anchored the 4 p.m. newscast with his wife Katie Kaplan.
